Natural Education for Ecological Development (NEED) is a Non-Government Organization, registered with Charity Commissioner Office, Yavatmal on dated 04.03.2010, Reg. No. F-13490, under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950, having registered office at Khairgaon Bhedi, Tal: Maregaon, Dist.: Yavatmal (Maharashtra).
NEED is a grassroots non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to empowering marginalized communities through sustainable development initiatives. Established with a focus on community development, NEED works in areas like women empowerment, youth skill development, education and livelihood support.
Key projects include the Tanabana production centre, fishing-related Jalmani project and financial literacy initiatives. With a people-centric approach, NEED emphasizes local participation, self-reliance, and holistic community growth.
